This weekend has been flying by pretty quickly if I do say so. Friday was a lot of fun, I spent most of the evening hanging out my friends, and as the night went on, I ended up driving down to Biddeford Pool (a small semi town that is apart of Biddeford). We went there really late (was about 2am), but once we were on the beach the night sky was fantastic. All of the stars were out and most of he constellations were visible (I only know a few but I am learning more every year). The most obvious ones that can be pointed out are The Big Dipper/Little Dipper (of course),
Orion (one of my favorites). Also you could see the bear of Ursa Major perfectly Friday night. The big dipper is apart of Ursa Major, making it's body and one of it's legs.
Saturday around noonish I knew I was supposed to meet my mom and brother for lunch, but I ended up sleeping in. So around noon I got a phone call from my mom saying she was already in Biddeford heading towards the school. This made me promptly get out of my bed and throw on some clothes and quickly get ready before they made it to UNE. I went out to lunch with them (and my brothers two friends that accompanied them). Lunch was quite good, and seeing my mom and my brother for a little while was nice also, I'm glad they came down to visit me. My madre and I a little while ago (couldn't find a recent picture on my laptop). And below is a picture of my brother from the Junior Olympics this year in North Carolina. Late Saturday afternoon I did safe ride almost all day, but later on in the night my former roomie Jim, who couldn't make it back to UNE after first semester last year (financial reasons unfortunately), came to visit. So Saturday night I hung out with him, which was pretty awesome. So here I am, today (Sunday), enjoying this fine rainy day haha. It's not cold enough to snow yet on the coast, but winter will be coming, and it's going to be brutal. |
