So a few days ago my building (Freddie) and with some other RA's from South (Champlain) had a cook out in the courtyard behind South. It was a pretty good dinner and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We had burgers, grilled chicken, pasta, and a variety of others alternatives. The weather held out for awhile also, although it did get chilly a bit later.   My RA from third floor Assisi last year was there, Steph, who is the RA of fourth floor South this year. She's truly an awesome friend and great to hang out with. Cook out events like this always bring on an interesting setting. There is always much more going on than just dinner in Decary in your immediate area. Conversations going by at every table, chatter amongst the housing staff. Definitily the right mood to eat some BBQ in. And I even got to sit at multiple tables with some different friends. And of course, our good ole friend that is the advisor to of all of the RA's on campus, John Zoko. Who is enjoying our little picnic BBQ as well. A real picnic would be a great prospect in the future I am thinking, maybe I should bring some friends on a day hike with a picnic?
More posts to come as I hopefully get a tiny bit less busy, I plan on doing some dorm spotlights, and maybe some individual video interviews in approaching weeks. Also I am in the process of some photography ideas so maybe I'll post them up here, or personal website favorites of mine. |
