Halloween Weekend

Hi everyone!

I was planning on doing a video blog this weekend, but I have been feeling a bit under the weather for a couple of days now, so I think we will skip the video this time. Anyways, I hope you all had a safe and happy Halloween! It was a really fun weekend at UNE. On Friday night my friends cooked a family dinner with rotisserie chicken, rice, and pigs in a blanket. It was all so good and everyone who walked through the lounge while we were eating was pretty jealous. One of the girls who lives on another floor asked us to invite her to our next family dinner, so we'll have to make sure to do that. Here is a picture of all of us eating our delicious Friday night supper together.

Saturday night was the "Dance of the Damned". Savanna, Kayleigh, Jenny and I dressed up as a group thing. Let's see if you can guess correctly.

If you guessed that we were the four seasons then you're right! If you didn't, hopefully if you look at the picture again you'll be able to figure it out. The dance was a ton of fun, and it was cool to see everyone else's costumes. There was someone dressed up as a deer with an inflatable deer head, there was another group of people dressed up as a couple of teams from the Legends of the Hidden Temple game show, and there was another group of people dressed as the Alice in Wonderland characters. So we had some pretty creative costumes, and here are some more pictures from Halloween.

Overall, it was a really fun night and I can't wait for next year's dance!
I feel like every time I put up a new blog I have to study. Same goes for tonight. I have a Human Development exam tomorrow afternoon and I have a lab practical on Tuesday. I think I just have a lot of exams. No matter when I decide to blog, I'm always going to have something to study for. But if you want the grades, you have to put the work in, so I guess it's a trade off.

P.S. Good news, I figured out the video software so I promise they will be better from now on!
